Bjørum

Bjørum Glassworks (Norway) was operating in the period 1873-1886. The marking of the glass floats believed to be made at Bjørum Glassworks is an embossed Roman style letter 'B' and a dot to the right (B.) located on the sealing button. The most common color of the floats marked as 'B.' is dark olive. We also came across a light teal glass buoy marked as a Roman style 'B.'


A Roman style 'B.' marked glass float sized as 3 inches in diameter. With newer hemp netting. Resides in a private collection in the US.
